Answer Thursday! (Part 2)
And now time to get stuck into this week's forum.
Q: The Wizard of Troy said:
Wendi Deng Murdoch versus Ed Orgeron in a fight at the Heritage Hall auditorium. Who wins?
A: I go with Wendi Deng. Too quick and agile against Orgeron's gout.

Hello Scott,
This is a follow up question. You said previously that your favorite food was Green eggs and ham. I have shopped around and it seems as though green eggs are not readily available. Can you please tell us what you like best about green eggs and ham?
A: Try the Superior Market in the University Village.

Has "Buck" Allen enrolled at USC?
A: I will need to check but he was not on a list of recruits I asked that were not enrolled, such as Steve Dillon (who will make it academically), Junior Pomee (who is trying to meet requirements as we speak) or Greg Townsend (also trying to qualify).

With Marc Tyler out for the first game who do you think can fill in the tailback spot? Do you think buck allen true freshman can be considered?
A: I think it's a big ask to expect a true freshman to start but possible. Dillon Baxter should be the guy but D.J. Morgan will be in the mix if his knee holds up for training camp. It's a great opportunity for the freshmen, however. The first week of camp should be able to offer a better picture of the tailback situation but right now Baxter is the frontrunner.

Steve Dillion (of Palmdale fame) is OFFICIALLY a goner ( i hear it coming already....you boy's saying Steve wasn't really wanted anyways!). Townsend and Pomee won't make it either..(All three were accepted per Southern Cal's standards, but you guys forgot the recruits are STUDENT ATHLETES and The NCAA!)
Dumb Dee Dumb Dumb U
Fite on Torgan!
Steve Dillon couldn't make the cut at SC, so he is considering an academically easier school like UCLA. There is another upside too, in that he will look like Lawrence Taylor when he gets to line up and practice against Rick's vaunted Peestol offense.
Being a Bruin fan is like being a meth addict--you know it will never get any better, yet you keep doing it anyway. It's no wonder ThaiMex can't get enough.
Psssst... Want another hit?
you know, when the trOXans were riding high on their "faux dynasty" run (the one that yielded zero BCS titles) at least they used to show some clumsy attempts at class and would wish departing players or de-commits well in their future endeavors.
now, with trOXan program inexorably on the big slide downhill, stripped, vacated and on probation, their venom is a big downer. grown men taking cheap shots at teenage boys who have the temerity to actually exercise their options.
trOXans, we all know you're hurting, but to be perfectly blunt, you all need to man up and stop taking it out on the kids.
Too bad for Dillon...the kid can play. It looks like Dillon's only other choice is a J.C. With SUCks not accepting him, there's NO WAY even Arizona St. could touch him, though I'm pretty sure if Garrett/Carroll were still around, Dillon would be at Southern Cal.
The question now is,...How many more non-qualifiers/transfers are there on the already thin Roster? (all hope is not lost... Texas A&M has a solution)
Fite on, Spit On, Sanctioned Cheaters!
I'm feeling really ARROGANT TODAY!
ChuckMex,
You really keep up with ihe ins and outs of USC football. That's commitment!!!!
Jethro: as i've always said, if your gonna follow the ins and outs of Southern Cal football, you should be committed!!
Steve Dillon is a D-lineman. Exactly what SC doesn't need more of. Plus he's only a 3 start kid. Let him go to JC then to the Westwood two hand touch team.
Not have Steve on the team this year opens a roster spot which is much needed. SC can now sign I believe three people this January.
You see gutties, we got this all worked out. Next year we doing the SBU dance in the Rose Bowl!
SlopeSpic, what you doing here? Get back to your fish taco cart and whip me up some food!
