Dedeaux On Gillick
Here's a past quote from the late USC baseball coach, Rod Dedeaux, on his former player, Pat Gillick, who was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame today.
``The kid remembered everything I told him. And he would practice, practice, practice,'' Dedeaux said. ``The other thing was his toughness. I'll never forget a game against a Marine Corps team in San Diego. The atmosphere in that stadium was total hostility (and Gillick pitched well).''
Why bring up that old scumbag Dildeaux? He's the one who taught McGuire to shoot up, in fact he was caught injecting in to McGuire's a$$ many times....And then he got out the syringes.

These UGLY commenters are comical though. N0BS is on their comedic second string at this point. He let's his blind jealousy overcome the clown-like instincts which comes so naturally to Bruins. It's disappointing.
As for Gillick, I'm actually a little confused as to why SC isn't doing more to celebrate such a great Trojan being deservingly honored. That's what happens when you have so many great alumni I guess.

He wasn't a star on the field, so they don't make a big deal of it, and it's baseball not football.
