When some USC basketball players played at Trade Tech near campus in Los Angeles on Saturday, their team was coached by former player Chris Penrose.
But the big stir Saturday was that Andrew Bynum (Lakers) and Russell Westbrook (Thunder) attended.
the mention of Trade Tech reminds me that last week i was, because i am a big shot, invited to attend a benefit event, a happy hour basically, for the opening of the new dino exhibit at the Museum of Natural History...and driving around Southern Cal campus reminded me how crummy the campus, vis-a-vis the surrounding area, really is.
hats off to Kiff for being able to sell schollies when the players have visited other schools...i can think of several community colleges with better looking facilities!!
before you trXOans start attacking and hatin', consider this is just an unbiased observation, not a cheap shot at Southern Cal, in fact, it is a compliment that you have managed to do so well in such...humble confines.

That comment about the campus is so out there, I can't tell if the comment is just a failed joke, or if the writer is off his meds.
