Basketball In Brazil

The Trojans lost to Sao Jose dos Campos, 87-81, tonight despite Jio Fontan's 28 points and Maurice Jones' 20.
``We didn't do our job in the first half,'' USC coach Kevin O'Neill said. ``Jio (Fontan) and Mo (Jones) both played great today. Everybody played well in the second half and I'm proud of their effort. This was a really good team we played today.''
USC held out freshmen Alexis Moore and Byron Wesley along with junior Greg Allen until their summer school grades are posted tomorrow.
This raises a good question. Just how much is USC getting out of this tour if its freshmen and JC transfer missed two of the five scheduled games?
Sophomore Dewayne Dedmon had six points, nine rebounds and four blocked shots while redshirt junior James Blasczyk had seven points and four rebounds.
