In The Middle

Lane Kiffin said it was his decision to move Devon Kennard to middle linebacker last season. Kiffin did not say it was a mistake. We'll see if he admits that at a future date.
But the hope here is that senior Chris Galippo gets a chance to actually be the middle linebacker this season. It was clear by the Kennard move the coaches did not believe in Galippo last season and now incoming freshman Lamar Dawson will arrive wearing No. 55 and getting every chance to play.
So let's see if Galippo, who should be a captain this season, is given the chance to be a starter.
