After Charles Robinson of Yahoo broke the story about the allegations at Miami, he was criticized by columnist Jason Whitlock of Fox Sports.
Robinson called Whitlock a ``coward'' today in an interview with radio station KCSP in Kansas City. Robinson also wrote about Reggie Bush for Yahoo.
``On the heels of the USC case, (Whitlock) once used the phrase `NCAA slave catchers' to refer to the work that myself and another reporter had done,'' Robinson said.

Whitlock's column rings hollow given the sanctions just levied by the NCAA.

The point Whitlock is making in his article is that Shapiro can't be believed as he is a convicted felon who may be trying to take down everyone around him by inflating the truth. This may be true but even if there is an ounce of truth to what Robinson is reporting, Miami should get a tougher punishment than us. And Robinson would not report this crap if he didn't have some concrete proof. Remember, Robinson stated that Shapiro gave him names of 139 players. Robinson, however, only reported on 73 because those are the only ones whose allegation could be corroborated in one way or another. Whitlock writes a lot of stupid articles. I'd have a lot more respect for Whitlock if he just admitted to the fact that he doesn't have the brains, will, or nuggets to scoop people like Robinson.

Whitlock,
sometimes does break new ground with his perspective, however; he can't seem to leave the invective of race out of his column, therefore I seldom take what he writes seriously.

I normally kind of like Whitlock, but this article was putrid.

In fact, what he wrote was the most insanely idiotic thing I have ever read. At no point, in his rambling incoherent article was he even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone on that site is now dumber for having read it. I award Whitlock no points and may God have mercy on his soul. (borrowed from Billy Madison)

sureshot, are you sure that Whitlock wrote the *most* insanely idiotic thing that you have ever read? Think again. Haters and trolls take that honor.
