Morgan Update

Tailback D.J. Morgan will be out for a week after fluid accumulated in his knee. It is the same that was surgically repaired his senior year at Taft High School in Woodland Hills.
``I was cutting and felt something in my knee,'' Morgan said. ``I just tweaked it a little bit.''
Morgan gained 44 yards in eight carries in Sunday's scrimmage before he suffered the injury.

based on the description of Morgan's injury, i'd say immediate knee swelling from a twisting injury as described is characteristic of a slightly torn meniscus probably of the medial aspect. hopefully this injury is not as bad as Gio's.

Cadre wishes for a speedy recovery to both young men.

miguelito, there is no such thing as a curse! Or are you just indulging in the "magical realism" for which you Latin Americans are so famous? I'll take mine with some salse verde on the side, and a cold Negro Modelo!

Olé SC, indeed! ¡Olé olé!
