the word 'nabob' was kind of popularized by spiro agnew, i believe, as a knock against the detractors of nixon's presidency. he used it because it was alliterative in the term "nattering nabobs of negativity".
i know what the words 'nattering' and 'negativity' mean. now i know what 'nabob' means. looks like the word was misapplied by son. dork.
Great post. Cowherd should be taken to task until he is put off the air. Or alter his game dramatically.
@ Sheep and User1: C-Buck is well aware of the origins of the phraseology i choose to employ. as with all artists, there are multiple levels of significance to all of my posts down to the choice of words, sentence constuction and punctuation. in fact, some have devoted their careers to studying the works of Charlie Bucket...right JS? ;)
