On Guard

| | Comments (0) |

As USC starts preparation for the Minnesota game this week, the offensive guard spots remain open. John Martinez and Abe Markowitz started Sunday's scrimmage but Aundrey Walker and Martin Coleman also played,
``Who started today is who we would start if we had a game,'' Lane Kiffin said.
Matt Barkley was not sacked by the second-team defense Sunday. But the running game was barely noticeable against the reserves.
Wide receiver Robert Woods knows best. While asked questions about himself, Barkley and Marqise Lee, Woods offered the best answer.
``We're only as good as our line,'' he said.
