O'Neill On Fontan

| | Comments (13) |

``I couldn't feel worse for any player I've coached in my career. Jio is the heart and soul of our team and had become a high-level player. His loss is a huge blow to our team. Our best thoughts go out to Jio and his family during his recovery.''
-- USC coach Kevin O'Neill on guard Jio Fontan tearing knee ligaments and missing the upcoming season.

That is sickening news for Fontan. The trip to Brazil really paid off losing the best player for the entire season before Midnight Madness. School is out and good - bye O'Neill next season.

Come on, Ugly Bucket, why are you continuously pointing out one Trojan's less than sympathetic response to a UCKLA brewin' down?

What are you, Ugly, the poster child for empathy and kindness? You are like an annoying noisy child who there is no escape from, only worse-- you sir are an arrogant middle-aged fool whose exhibition of self-importance is so tedious, so tiresome, so on and so on

Laughing at a kid's injury. That's some UCLA class. Thanks for that, Bucket.

Be careful Chuck. You have crossed over to the dark side here!

I admit I immediately started to mentally cash in the season. A horrible blow to the team and especially Jio. But an opportunity for Maurice to step up! Pull it together Trojans and Fight On!

ok boys, don't get all Paul Dee on C-Buck!! merely pointing out that such low blows are not forgotten and ALWAYS come back to haunt!

same 'ol trOXans...they commit the dirty deeds, and then spend all their time pointing their dirty fingers at everyone else!!!

when you vainglorious blow-hards run Bounce Pass outta town (i give him 4 yrs on job total) i recommend you hire Paul Dee as new AD, oh how the King o' Hypocrisy would fit in at Southern Cal so perfectly!!! only problem is when he walks around campus, everyone will call out "Lowyer John!" by mistake!!!

and who could forget this gem from Mono?

Everyone but you forgot it Chuck. A perfect example of you having waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much time on your hands.

Mosts fans, regardless of loyalty would not make light of an actual injury but you are treading in dangerous territory here.
