Practice Report

It was a lively practice for the day after a 122-play scrimmage with freshman offensive guard Aundrey Walker drawing interest with athletic ability and speed for someone who weighs 364 pounds.
Although freshman Lamar Dawson is playing with the second string, Lane Kiffin said it is too soon to say if Dawson would step in at middle linebacker if Chris Galippo got hurt. Kiffin again praised Amir Carlisle for not looking like a freshman in the scrimmage.
Jessie Scroggins could be out awhile with a sprained ligament in his thumb but is officially day-to-day.
Asked about Matt Barkley, Kiffin said he played ``just OK. There were some plays he could have done better with his decision making.''
