Here is my top 25 ballot for the Associated Press preseason poll, which comes out this weekend.

Meeeh... Mississippi is a bold pick.... ND once again is going to get exposed this year...
Texas is much better than a #20 ranking. And where is UCLA? they belong in the top 10.

Air Force & BYU are the big surprises to me on your list, while no Arkansas to be found.

Killer probation, a dullard for a head coach and even with all of that, ucla can't field a team to beat USC or even get ranked, pathetic. BYU and Air Force ranked but not Utah ??
We all know that preseason rankings don't mean a damn thing. In the end the wins ans losses will give you the real picture of a team's success. UCLA not being in the top 25 don't mean a thing, they gotta win games. And there are schools that are perennially ranked year in and year out, and they get ranked in the preseasn, not on current talent, but past accomplishments.
Boise St #1??? Because of their schedule maybe but not their team. New coach and new team..not as good as last year...
What made you change your tact so quickly Rob? Do you have to be quick with excuses when you follow Bruin football so closely?

Way too high: Boise State, Florida State
Too high: Alabama, LSU, Mississippi State, Stanford
Way too low: South Carolina, Wisconsin
Too low: Notre Dame, USC
Predictions for SC:
Cal will be a tougher game than most think.
USC may be 6-0 when they head to South Bend for their toughest game against the Irish in the last decade (next to the Bush Push game)
Will beat Stanford at the Coliseum.
Great chance to be 10-0 when they play the Ducks at Autzen Stadium.
Best chance to go 12-0 in recent years.
I predict: 10-2
Check out Bruin Rob making a case for the Longhorns already. So the loss in the Rose Bowl doesn't sting as much. Making excuses already... that's the UCLA way... should be a great game between two average teams this season, but Texas will win.
