About The Pac-12
So why did the Pac-12 decide to stay put? Because it determined splitting its money 16 ways was not worth it? Because Oklahoma is willing to stay in the Big 12? Because the presidents are just getting used to Utah and Colorado and did not want the Texas and Oklahoma schools dictating policy? Because Texas was unwilling to share the spoils of the Longhorn Network in a way everybody else liked?

because texas is scared of usc, duh.
Aren't you supposed to be a reporter, Scott? Why don't you do some reporting and find out the answers instead of asking for opinions? Although it is a step up from your usual snide comments.
Probably all the above have an element of truth to them.
Texas just cut a sweetheart deal for itself, so why would it want to mess with that, for afterall, don't mess with Texas, right!
16 schools would have meant not playing Oregon or Cal or Washington for a couple of years at a time. Not good, in my opinion, for whatever that is ever worth.
I'm gonna go with "because the resulting logo carved from the states represented would have looked like a giant toilet".
The last reason, Texas doesn't want to go equal revenue sharing, is the only viable reason. The other reasons are figments on someone's imagination...
