Allen On NCAA Changes

Former USC star Marcus Allen, now working for Fox Sports, was asked today about issues the NCAA needs to address.
“There has to be major changes and we’re kidding ourselves if we think we don’t have to,” Allen said. “There has to be something done to give guys an incentive to stay in school. Schools are making a lot of money off of these young men and yes, they’re getting an education but there has to be something else. If you pulled back the curtain I’d think that every program is compromised in some way.”

  1. Well, since Marcus is associated with one program in particular isn’t he admitting that SC “is compromised”?

  2. “Everybody does it”…what a compellng argument!

Quick, someone forward this to Missy Conboy!

    Sanctions Off!

  3. Marcus knows first hand how the NCAA sanctions can hurt innocent players. He and his teammates suffered during the 1980 TV blackout.
