Depth Charge

USC used only 47 players against Utah, up from 43 against Minnesota. Freshman linebacker Lamar Dawson played two series in his career debut.
“We’re trying to play more people, I know we say that every week but we’re going to do it this week,” Kiffin said. “We need to do a better job of it.”
With Syracuse the opponent this week that shouldn’t be a problem.
Cornerback Nickell Robey and safety T.J. McDonald each were in for 73 plays Saturday.

  1. Lane Kiffin is a joke as a Head Coach. He needs to get his head out of the Play card and pay attention to the players on and off the field. He has some great athletes on both Offense and Defense on the second Unit who need some game experience. The defensive secondary is looking very tired after the third quarter and are getting burned in pass coverage downs. I know there are guys in the defensive second unit who can read quarterbacks very well and led the Defensive unit as a fresmen with three interceptions. Who you say? Drew McAllister the best ball hawk on this trojan team and he’s 100% healthy.
