Now, a few final words on the ASU game:
`1. SC was an underdog on the road
2. SC was behind 21-6 and got a field goal, a touchdown, and another touchdown to take the lead at 22-21. Not a word from one poster was said about this nice comeback
3. After ASU snatched the lead back, SC was driving for still another go-ahead td when Tyler fumbled. Tyler was looking great up to that point, but that miscue turned the game around
4. No receivers were open when Barkley held onto the ball, was hit, and fumbled. Game effectively over.
5. There was a good sportsmanship moment for the season when the evil one for ASU intercepted Barkley, and was then hunted down and tackled by Barkley. The evil one then helped Barkley up, and Barkley gave the evil one a pat on the rump as a sign of mutual respect
6. ASU deserved to win. Their qb was on, their runners ran hard, and they had very few mistakes. That, and a rabid, loud crowd aided their team wanting to avenge 11 straight losses.

Looks like Kiffin deserves the title of "Mr. Positive" now.

Well, he can have it. Everybody always says, "Oh, Mr. Positive, it must be so great to be so positive all the time! What a great attitude!" Well, let me tell you, a positive attitude is not something that you just wake up with one day. You can't just grab one at Ralph's along with your toilet paper and Michelob.

A positive attitude is something you build day by day, brick by F-ing brick. And then one day you look down, and you're standing on a house of cards. And then some thug with a made-up name like "Vontaze Burfict" comes along and bulldozes through it like Sheriff Joe Arpaio going through a trailer park meth lab.

This season is going to end in disaster, I just know it. For the past two years, the rest of the USA has been laughing at us for being stuck with Kiffin, and we didn't want to listen. And now he's going to lead this program down the toilet to UCLA-like depths, where we will spend God knows how many years crawling around in the dark and filth like a bunch of blind sewer-rats who have never seen the sun. Hey, Bruins, save a warm spot in the turd-pile for us! We'll be down there with you soon!!

The fact of the matter is that over time Kiffin will be found out just like Neuheisal is being found out at UCLA. SC fans need to face the fact that we will be stuck with him for the next year and a half. The underlying theme with Kiffin is a HUGE ego and poor leadership. This has been exampled after three games: The Minnesota post game quote, the "explanation after the Syracuse game for Barkley throwing the ball at the end of the game, and now making the "We play Freshman excuse" after getting it handed to them by ASU.
Memo to Kiffin, nobody wants to hear excuses or alibis. This is USC! Either you're getting it done or you're not! There is more talent than a majority of the teams you're playing. Get it together and quit making excuses for yourself.
