Sunday Night With Kiffin
Lane Kiffin said he is going to ask the Pac-12 officials coordinators for a ruling on those two hits by safety T.J. McDonald that earned him personal foul penalties.
``I don't know, when the guy has the ball in his hands running, what you're supposed to do,'' Kiffin said.
He also defended the screen pass intercepted by Vontaze Burfict.
``I'm as critical of myself as anybody,'' Kiffin said. ``That's the best call you can make there for that defense. That scores 99 out of 100 times.''

O.K., O.K., O.K.
I am as disappointed as any Trojan and possibly more than most
But it was a very entertaining game. The Trojans had a
chance to win it late in the 4th quarter. And quite frankly, if one were rational, that is all one would need to be content and happy (sports-wise, that is)
The offense was moving the ball. Don't turn the ball over and they likely blow out ASU, win a shootout at worst. Turnovers were story of game. They will be a fun team to watch and will win plenty of games this season. Especially against those pansies across town. Might beat one of the two top teams either Oregon or Stanford, if can score points and win a shootout by dominating time of possession running the ball with Tyler. Gonna be a fun year, fight on!
ps. Enjoy rejoicing in a USC loss, ruins, you already know YOUR team can't beat us! Lmao.
oh you gotta love it when LJ talks down to his fellow trOXans, telling them how to to think and act, and calling them "irrational" for not being happy with saturday's debacle!!
i personally love it when LJ constantly lectured trOXans on not responding to the Classy Cadre, because that would "encourage" us....reserving that privilege for himself!!
LJ must be the big-blow-bag-boss of the trOXans! LJ, make them eat dirt and kick themselves in the butt!!!
A "rational sports fan" is an oxymoron.
If you turn the ball over 4 times, you are going to lose most of the time. It was encouraging to see USC make a game of it in the 3rd quarter, and equally discouraging to watch USC blow it with turnovers thereafter. This was a bad loss. ASU is not that good of a team, although the Sun Devils were hungry to end the 11-game losing streak.
The winning streaks against Notre Dame and ASU were lost under Kiffin's watch.
Lawyer John and Own the Rose Bowl are your typical RAH RAH USC fans. The same ones that supported Hackett, the same ones that supported Smith, that supported Robo 2. They can't see the decline, the inept head coach and his senile dad, the mistakes, the predictable play calling, the coach throwing coaches and players under the bus to cover his own ass. They will go down with the ship with Kiffin, willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, "trust the coaches" is what they will say.
USC is headed for a miserable decade if Haden won't cut he cord with Kiffin and he shows no inclination to do so. Get used to 7-5, 6-6 or worse this decade.
