I expected a close game and I expected Kiffen would be outcoached as usual. I did not expect USC to play like retards (can I say that) the first half and run on 3rd & whatever. What was Kiffen thinking? Was it his plan to leave the game to the defense?
I would like it if at least Kiffen looked up from his play-calling sheet a whole minute or two. What could he be searching for if he chose to run on third downs?

@Carlos: how, exactly, was Kiffin outcoached? His play-calling was phenomenal. Tyler rushed for over 150, Woods caught another 100-plus; are INTs and fumbles Kiff's fault?
Ps. Wolf, do Oregon athletes eat/train differently? Early practice seems to work for them each week...
Lane Kiffin is outcoached weekly offensively and his father is terrible with the secondary. Drew McAlister needs to start at safety replacing Jawanza Starling. Play calling is nowhere. Does he ever catch the defense going the wrong way or looking for something that is reversed. One wildcat formation the whole night. Three times in the first half he runs up the gut on third and 14 - 16 yds. to go. What is he doing keeping Morgan on the bench and only one carry for Baxter. Tyler fumbled in a crucial time and went back in the next series. He has no re-pore with these kids only a doghouse worse than Henry Bibby had for the basketball team.

This is Kiffen's 4th season as a head coach. Which season would you characterize as great? I agree that all the fumbles and interceptions are not Kiffen's fault but they do, in the long run, point to the quality of a team and it's coaching.
My point is Kiffen has no record to stand on when you consider the quality expected of a USC coach and after a while I expect people will come to the conclusion that he was not cut out to be a championship caliber coach. Hope I'm wrong about this but if SC loses 4 or more games what would be your assessment? (Please don't say the poor performance is because of young players.)

SPOT ON! I will never forgive for holding out Allen Bradford in the Notre Dame (last home game for seniors last year). Not even a 12-0 season.

At this level one(1) OJT coach is ill advisable and an OJT HC and OC is very unusal. However, there is slim hope. Those freshmen OG's are learning very, very fast. I expect some RB#5 runs by RB's soon. Will this be enough to save The Kiffer?

I don't always agree with Wolf but 'implosion' is the right way to put it. We were humiliated on the field.
Kiffen keeps making consistent coaching mistakes that he has not adjusted. It's time for him and Monte to go so we can stop the bleeding.
How the bleep do you blame the coaching for a loss when one guy, ONE, by himself turns 4, count 'em, FOUR, great scoring opportunities into 21 points for the other team. First he misses a wide open Woods who's next stop is the end zone, then he throws a perfect pass to Burfict inside the 25 then he dumps one on the ground inside the 25 and finally another int in the same area. I may have the sequence wrong but so what. Barkley's Mom should put the dipstick on suicide watch. I hope the coaches don't and take the position that if the dummy wants to slash his wrists give him something sharp.
Blarney, if you are simply going to blame Barkeley, I'm going to have a problem with you. Who coaches Barkley? The QB coach. Who is in charge of the QB coach? The OC. Who is in charge of the OC? Lane Kiffen.
Ultimately if Barkley is making the same stupid mistakes like you claim, it's the coaching that is not working. Kiffen has tried to coach him up, but there is a major disconnect in the way that Barkeley should be playing because he is top calibur.
Stop trying to give the coaching staff an easy out. Without a great, performing, coaching staff, the mighty nation of Troy fails.
