An Upset?

Was USC's victory over Notre Dame an upset?
``We dominated," linebacker Dion Bailey said. "I guess you can call it an upset. We knew they couldn't do anything to the defense. We were never nervous. They were supposed to be a physical offense and they only ran 14 times."

Of course it was an upset. ND was favored by two scores at home. USC was a decided underdog. How can it not be an upset now? I don't get it. We are going to be huge underdogs in most of the games here on out. We better get used to it.

Keith,

Huge underdogs in most games?
Stanford and Oregon = underdogs
Washington = push or usc slight favorite
USC will be favored against Colorado and UCLA.

one thing i do give credit for is the fact the trOXans have taken advantage of an exremelty favorable 1st half season schedule...their one game against a ranked opponent was an expected loss against ASU.

Southern Cal has no chance whatsoever against Stanford, although it should be an entertaining game. if they win, Chucker-Bucker will leave this blog forever with a Gallupo-sincere apology for anyone offended by my remarks.

did you notice by the way, Gallupo did not apologize for his remarks, he only apologized if anyone was offended by them. for someone who has missed so many games due to injury, it is shocking this dumbbell would question the courage of an opponent.

Calling a student-athlete Galippo a dumbbell and mocking his injuries is a really "classy" move. You're a hypocrite Bucket.

Bucket is also an ugly liar.

When SC beats Stanford I will bet you dollars to donuts he does not leave our blog.

Southern Cal Mike: can the false outrage, you jive turkey, i was just expecting a little more compassion from such a courageous player who has had a lot of injuries and understands what it takes to play with ultimate courage and class.

i apologize if anyone was offended by the truth of my statement. i have nothing but respect for Gallupo and the trOXans.

there, better??

SON OF CHARLIZE BUCKSH*T WILL LEAVE THIS BLOG FOREVER AFTER USC WINS THIS SATURDAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Will I miss the Son after she is gone? Who will be the next Bruin to step up in her place to get bashed, berrateed, and abused? Oh will Charlize simply ride off into the sunset with a bag full of Nuehisel Nickels and her newly joined unemployed lover Coach Rick New Weasel?

Brother Bucket, you don't seem to have the zest for trolling that you once did. I don't really blame you. I don't post as much as I once did, either, and I have retired most of my characters. Maybe you should consider retiring from the blog for a while even if USC doesn't beat Stanford. Wait for the inspiration to return.

These days, I suspect that "GoGo the Jew Hater is Over Here." is using more handles on this blog than both of us combined, making his surly comments and asking Wolf questions about European soccer.

HAWR-HAWR!!! Justice LJ tells the fellow trOXans he wants me off of "our blog"!!! what a hypocritical blow-bag!! he bashes the intrepid wolfman as much as anyone!! but it's "our blog"!!

HAWR-HAWR!!! this is the CADRE's BLOG, and all you OLD relics from the Howard Jones era need to shut up and bow in servitude to the Classy Cadre!!!

WEB: thanks for your "Positive" remarks! things have been slow, but it just semms that way now! remember we have had a whirl-wind of AWESOME scooooops for the last two years!!! (you know i have the list) things will pick up now that the trOXans have to play some ranked teams!!!

AUUUU-WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

Confidential to Brother Bucket: one of my old pals will be coming out of retirement soon, just in time for this week's game. I suppose I could try to keep my fingerprints off his post by filling it with outrageous spelling errors, but that would not befit a man of his pedigree.

@Bucket: In that case, you have surpassed Brother Jethro in the clarity department.

W.E.B.,

How about Westwood Rob. Mr Positive, Ralph Von Stater and yourself all very closely related to one another?
