Where will Baxter transfer? SDSU? Michigan (a reverse Fargas)? UCLA? Florida? WHERE???
A: I think he will have a lot of options. Naturally, San Diego State is attractive because he is from there. But he could probably go to a Big 12 school or somewhere else and play. He needs to make sure he goes somewhere where he will play. That is not always a decision that is easy. Few of the USC upperclassmen that transferred made much impact last season outside of defensive end Malik Jackson, who went to Tennessee. But I'm sure Baxter is already thinking about where he will be next season.

Whats the problem with our defense?
A: I'd say it's a combination of passive schemes and just being as good as some people, including the coaching staff, led everyone to believe before the season.

Scott, do you see a lot of substitution going on during the games in giving the 2nd-3rd string players some valuable playing time? To me, Kiffin is coaching like there is no next season. And for that matter, what happens if Barkley gets hurt? I just don't see Kiffin developing a program on the field.
A: No, he does not rotate despite his claims to want to do it. I agree he is coaching like there is no next season. And maybe he thinks there isn't if he doesn't win. That might be why George Farmer is now looking like he will not redshirt. But I've been disappointed in the rotations, especially on defense.

Farmer at RB? This season? If Kiffen brings Farmer in to run the ball this season he is a genuine Dumba$$. When you have a diamond in the rough you polish it up. If he thinks Farmer will save his job he deserves to go, but not at the end of the season, more like right now. They could coach Baxter really hard and perhaps have a good RB.
As a journalist it's incredibly irresponsible of you to pontificate on where an athlete who has not stated a desire to transfer would end up next season but you're Scott Wolf and an absolute joke of a journalist so I am not really that surprised.
Tyler, are you that naive? Baxter is as good as gone and there s nothing wrong with what Wolf said, get a grip little boy.
Watch it with that little boy nonsense.
