In this segment, a question about whether sanctions make the USC job less appealing.

If SC finishes the year with say 5 or 6 losses (or even more), do you believe it's pointless to fire Kiffin since it will be next to impossible to get a top head coach because of the scholarship resrictions for the next few years? Or do you believe even with these scholarship reductions USC is still such an attractive job that it could get someone like a Chris Petersen?
A: I believe it is still considered an attractive job and the next person will not succeed Pete Carroll, so in that sense there will be a little less pressure. Chris Petersen's never shown much willingness to coach in a big city like Los Angeles but I'm sure Pat Haden could make a pretty good pitch if he really wanted him. USC can pay more money than any school in the country so it should not have trouble attracting candidates whenever a job opens.

Jeff fisher will get the first offer if Kiffin goes. Bank on it!
seriously, if they were willing to pay Kiffin $3M or whatever he's getting, just think what they'd pay for a real coach!
