Defensive Issue

Kiff, we don't care what the scheme is called but we know it's garbage. This D should be a lot better.

What ever they play, it sucks!

The defensive scheme we play is called:.. the MLB runs away from the ball while no one puts any pressure on the QB and all the while we cover no one! This scheme is done in slow speed to facilitate camera coverages!
This scheme is also called the "Cover Zero"

...the scheme is called "How many tackles has Jazwnza Starling missed?" It's not the scheme, it's the inexperience.
Ps. @Gillyking: have you seen Nick Perry & Co? They're getting plenty of pressure on QBs; open your eyes. The back seven needs to start making plays.

Oh yeah, how are you liking those sack and turnover numbers? Osweiler,Foles, the QB from Syracuse and even that lame QB from Utah could have had lunch and a dessert course awaiting their receivers to come open. I do however agree that the back 7, especially the LB's need to start making plays, but the scheme does not function as it's being played, leaving so much space underneath!
The MLB runs from most contact and is no where near the culmination of the play, and if it weren't for Baily, we'd have damn near no LB play!
LK states that the D is supposed to bend and not break and that the underneath 3-4 yd plays are acceptable as long as we don't give up the big one, and then when they get into the redzone, we tighten up. What a bunch of bullshit that is! It means that Our defense is spending long periods on the field while theirs is sitting on the sidelines resting and refreshing while their offense pounds on the Trojans.. Open your eys "owns"...

I am not the "least bit surprised" you are rushing to the defense of your father, Coach Kiffin. If the coordinator isn't calling some passing defense set most of the time (which the opposing coaches are calling lots of passing plays against your defense)what kind of a defense are you calling it? This is getting to be a joke now...

We will never dominate the Pac 12 or the BCS as long as we continue to run the defensive schemes that MK is calling! It does not matter how much we love our Trojans, all the love and support in the world is not going to fix what Monte Kiffin is running!
