OK... this is a good sign as far as the ND-SC rivalry. But this is more than just one game in a whole season. Why hasn't this team underacheived the past few games? Take ownership of the games! Make it hard for the other team to put an advantage against you. Kiffin had the ND defense guessing the whole first half with his playcalling. You could see it in their coach's expressions. This had to do with "execution" of the plays(thank you). Yes ND got a few cheap scores that made this game unfortunately closer than what it should. But you could tell the O-line was finally feeling its oats in run blocking and protect Barkley in pass plays. My congratulations to the SC lines on both sides in particular. Now than you fellas know you can play good ball, lets keep the momentum up!

Geez Louise, is 'Monopoly' becoming a rah rah type of Trojan?
SC opened as a 9-point underdog to Stanford, same as it was against ND. Well, those are not lottery odds, fellow Trojans, and I have to be at that game Saturday night to scream if our boys can do it.

I believe "Lane Kiffin" and Mr. Lawyer John see the Light. After 20 games with Kiffin as Head Coach, there is every reason to believe our Trojans are not yet near the quality of ASU, Stanford, and the Ducks. Last year there were excuses. Not so this year. Believe it or not, if ND ties the game at 17-17, we lose the football game.
The Problem Saturday: the red birds are not coming off a stunning and disasterous loss as they did last year when the Ducks scored 35 unanswered points in the second half. They are coming off a blow-out of the UW
Husky and are at the top of their game, much like we used to be under Coach Carroll.
Like ND, Stanford TALENT doesn't match up to ours, but their offense and defense schemes are mind boggling. If we do not score a ton of points in the second half, we lose by at least 20.
All things considered, can the Trojans kick Stanford's a** come Saturday ??? Look at it this way, if the Kiffin Program has truly "turned the corner", the Kiffin's may very well have their first SIGNATURE WIN.
Fight On !!!

schammer, you are wrong. Stanford's Offensive line talent might be the best in the nation, and their RB is top 10. They out muscle any and every opponent so far. This doesn't bode well for our undersized outside LB's.
I on the other hand am optimistic and think we can load up that box for TJ to lay the wood!
LJ, what do you mean rah rah now? I have always been rah rah. Crying about LK on these boards is for Bruins and Paul Hacket fans...
Good sign...
Stop the presses.. Scooter actually wrote something positive about the coach! Damn!

Who cares .. .Goatboy still sucks. He got lucky and beat some dumb ass that switches qbs at the 1. Pure Kiffesque type move by Kelly.
