In the history of USC football dating back to 1888, no Trojan team surrendered 40-or-more points in back-to-back games until now. That's not likely going to be in this week's press release (hat tip to Petros Papadakis for that).

Scott and Petros the two official USC haters. Spending their time finding every bad stat to run USC through the mud.
Wonder if the fact that one never played a meaningful game at USC and the other always wanted to play sports has anything to do with it?
Both have to hate that Lane's wife would never give them the time of day.

Pete sure lucked out not having to play against Foles, Luck, Owswiler in their prime. The league has changed...
PC had to go up against pretty good QB's ( Aaron Rogers ), he just had better talent and better coaches ( in the beginning ). Kiffin just has Mr Magoo calling his defense

I am not impressed with our defense, however, Pete still had to square off against future pros almost every week in this conference. That's how the Pac 10 is/was.
Guys like Cody Pickett from UW, Jason Gesser and Matt Kegal from WSU. Oregon State had Derek Anderson, Matt Moore, and Sean Canfield while Oregon had that Joey Harrington kid and the even more annoying Dixon and Masoli (all handled at one time or another). Cal had Kyle Boller and some kid named Aaron Rodgers (he's not very good). Stanford had Fasani and then Trent Edwards, and there is always giant killer himself Tavita Pritchard. ASU was loaded at QB the whole time Pete was here: from Andrew Walter to Rudy Carpenter.
Outside the conference there was Timmy Chang from Hawaii and Matt Beck from BYU then there was of course their was Brady Quinn for 14 years (or something like it) at Notre Dame. Yes, there were some Stanbacks and Ostranders but to say that Pete's defenses had a cake walk through the conference every year would be ignorant, or at least forgetful.
Fight On!
Today's spread college football offenses less P. Carroll's unbelievable defensive players (incl. 4 first-day drafted linebackers) = 40-or-more points in back-to-back games. Prob. won't be the last time either.

Keith, Tavita Pritchard wasn't a future pro. He went undrafted in the 2010 NFL Draft. In May 2010 he participated in a rookie minicamp with the San Francisco 49ers, but was not offered a contract. He worked as a volunteer assistant for the Stanford football team in 2010 under Jim Harbaugh, and in 2011 was hired as a defensive assistant football coach at Stanford by new head football coach David Shaw.
Sure Knobbed, what would you like me to educate you on this time? hmmmmmmm.....how about the long history of USC cheating? okay in 1903 USC PAID and admitted a student to school to suit up and play in a football game against Pomona Pitzer, that was the beginning of USC's tradition of cheating. Enjoy your history lesson of the day, Mr. Knobbed.
