Kelly Responds
Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly was asked today about USC linebacker Chris Galippo's remark that the Irish ``quit'' at the end of the game.
``I don't know if that's the case,'' Kelly said. ``To the victors go the spoils. We probably would have said the same thing last year. How we evaluate our players, we didn't play the kind of football we wanted to play.''

Kelly, last year was last year.
We fought until the bitter end last year with RoJo almost reeling in a game stealing pass...so what the heck is he talking about?
Kelly is a fat red faced leprechaun. F him..
FER Keeeeeeeryyyyyyyyst Sakes, they even passed out 80,000 white flags to their fans. They were at least prepared to give up!
F the Domers
Fight On
My problem wasn't Kelly... its that asshole NBC announcer. He couldn't talk enough about how ND #5 decided to play for ND over SC and particularaly at the end of the game when it was obvious ND was going to lose the game. The timing in my opinion was pure sour grapes. F-him! My compliments though to the color analyst who tried to give SC credit where it was due.
Dt1-how right you are.
NBC is the Notre Dame network. They also said that ND had better players except for Barkley, Woods, and Lee. Yeah, that was apparent?

Quit?
They didn't quit, they were all just preoccupied with thinking how they could help Mr. Manti write that chapter he kept referring to.

Personally, I would love to see Reggie Hammonds kick Tom Hammond's aaaaass.
The game and its tradition, not NBC, is credited for outdrawing ABC's game, but it got stomped by the World Series, which had 4 times the viewers
How can we say Notre Dame quit? I agree the timeout decisions of Coach Kelly are unconventional, but the Irish players definitely dug in and stopped us from scoring three straight plays inside the 10 at the end of the game.
