No Backup Plan
USC linebacker Chris Galippo is being overused right now because freshman Lamar Dawson is out with a sprained ankle. But why wasn't a contingency plan formed? Couldn't Hayes Pullard or Shane Horton fill in for a series or two? Or Tre Madden? Anthony Sarao, a middle linebacker, is redshirting so he is apparently out of the question. But USC nearly went 0-2 because its middle linebacker is exhausted.
Great question, also why is Lee on offense when they could use a playmaker on defense and they have an abundance of talent at WR. Oh, sorry, I forgot, it's the coaching and their decisions. They have good players. Top 20 recruiting should equal better than this results. And, don't tell me their record. They haven't played anybody yet. 2 wins maybe 3 for the remainder of the year is my prediction. Hey Wolfie, how about a poll on the remainder of the season record?
I love you Wolfie, you are "right on" with your bashing of the Kiffens. Hopefully they won't last another season. This isn't a training ground for head coaches and their dinosaur dads defense. It's USC. They deserve better.
Scott, you and Petros are SO bright and smart with regards to running the Trojan Football program. Why don't both of you quit your jobs and become the Head Coach and Defensive Coodinator? You both are SOOOOOO successful.

Guess what? They didn't go 0-2 and the reason they are 1-1 isn't the middle linebacker depth. If Dawson is out for any longer period of time then of course a long-term solution like moving Kennard should be considered.

I very much lack confidence in Galippo. He's being overused?? It's not like he has asthma or he's a 70 year old man. This is a Division 1 college athlete. I dont undrestand why he gets exhausted after playing half a freakin football game. I bet there are many teams out there that play their starting middle line backer for almost every snap without him getting "overused"
I'd stick Robert Woods in there every 4 series to keep Galippo fresh.
