George Farmer looks more like 6'3" 185 pounds. Some of you may remember Sam Dickerson, the tall TB who played and starred for SMU before going pro and starring for the then Los Angeles Rams(?). Sam was tall like George Farmer and had terrific foot speed like Farmer, but weighed in at 225 pounds. Tall slender athletes do not play TB. Maybe that explains why Mr. Farmer has never played TB in his lifetime.
The 2009 Roster had Aaron Corp at 6'3" 200 pounds. Crap, if Corp weighed 180 pounds it would be a stretch.
If Kiffin wants to try someting new, why not put sophmore Dillon Baxter, all 5'11" 195 lbs of him, at CB? He is build solid enoough to kick some serious a**.
oh hell yes i remember Sam Dickerson! he played for former Southern Cal coach, Don Robinson! in fact under Robo's leadership, Sam broke OJ's rushing record!!
oh what a small world!! but then the evil Danielle Frontiere took the Rams to St. Louie :(
@Bucket: I give you crap over your dum-dum posts, so to be fair I should give you props over your good ones, too. That was a good one.
I think everyone realizes except two persons that the O-line situation is the top weakness on this team and it is not getting any better. Those two persons are obviously James Cregg & his Tennessee buddy Kiffin.
Speak to the post, SOB, instead of playing smart a**. SMU was served the DEATH PENALTY moments after SD went pro. SOB, the DP might be the only event in your lifetime that would give ucla a measure of revenge over your cross-town SUPREMISTS.
Question: Would you play a slender George Farmer at Tailback ON THIS FOOTBALL TEAM,a future NFL Hall of Fame wide receiver?
I think that is why McKay would not play SD at tailback...he was a slender wide receiver. Who's on first?
