Temp at kickoff time 7:30 pm eastern time, that's right, South Bend is located a mile or so inside the eastern time zone, upper 40's. Temp at games end, cerca 11:00 pm South Bend Time, upper 30's. The low Temp tonite in SB is forecasted to be a soft freeze or mid to upper 30's. AD Haden, how much bribe money did it take for NBC to convince you that a traditional day game in SB be converted to a NG ?

Weather condition is a good point. I recall being back there one October and it was in the 30s and I did not enjoy the game. I bet our boys are just thinking of getting out of that cold instead of trying to beat ND. I know the Irish are playing in the same cold, but they practice in it thru the year and the Trojans don't.

So we are seeing a 6 degree drop in temp from 7:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Assuming the game will end at 11:00 pm, at 6 degrees each half hour for 6 additional half hours, the Temp at games end would be 51 minus 36 dgrees, or 15 degrees. That's not going to happen.

The low last night in Chicago, Temp 32 dgrees. I can see the 4th quarter Temp in the low 40 degrees. TC, I'm a Californian who did Grad School in Madison, WI. At 8:00 pm in SB, darkness sets in and 51 degrees is going to fall like a rock.
