I read Tupou's quote and understood its meaning immediately, and I thought it described what I witnessed on that field pretty darn well.

@Edward, re: "Open Mat Night" 'I am great' is terrific striker and a great grappler. I think he's got a great future in MMA.

We sparred for three rounds in the ring and I must say he has a nasty left hook. We also grappled and took turns tapping out...however he's a much younger man than I am, so I sorta ran out of gas you might say. LOL

End result, we talked, and thanked each other for actually giving each other the respect and the courtesy to not have wasted each other's time, and we realized some things, learned some things about each other, and we have a greater respect for each other, I shared some things, he shared some things and we're now friends...thanks for asking, and letting me share. :)
