Red-Zone Check
USC practiced red-zone defense this week, but the Trojans' red-zone offense also needs work. USC ranks 10th in the Pacific-12 Conference, scoring 75 percent of the time it is inside the 20-yard line. Stanford is ranked first, scoring 100 percent of the time.
After watching the Cal-Oregon game last night, all Monte has to do is put his DBs in man-to-man, have the D-line pin their ears back and rush the quarterback and keep the linebackers close to the line to cover the running backs.
Cal's QB is one of the sorriest passers I have ever witnessed. He would even be a bench warmer for that school across town. Monte must be partying right now after watching "Tedford's QB".
