Remembering Davis
A former USC athletic dept. who worked when Al Davis was a USC assistant sent in a brief note: ``I remember when he came to USC and he brought Angie Coia with him. He was not nearly as volatile at USC as he would soon become.''
Angelo Coia was a defensive end who transferred from The Citadel and enjoyed a seven-year NFL career with the Chicago Bears, Washington Redskins and Atlanta Falcons.

Scott...Coia was a halfback and sprinter at USC in 1958-59. RIP Mr. Davis.
Edward is correct. Not sure he ever touched the ball in a game.
He lettered two years at USC, and was switched to offensive end in the NFL (7 seasons).
