Stat Of The Day

One thing Lane Kiffin will not complain about the refs: The Trojans are least-penalized team in the Pac-12 with 44. USC opponents committed 59 penalties.

In regards to the referring in the Pac-12 conference. As a die hard USC fan, it has been a travesty in terms of making the correct call on the field and getting the call correct in the replay booth over the last five or so years. In just about every Pac-12 game there are a couple of calls that are real head scratchers. That being said, the referring did not play a factor in the final outcome of Saturday's game. If you recall there were three plays that were not made by SC that really stood out.
1.) The missed tackle on a third down where Stanford scored their first TD. Make that tackle and hold them to a FG.
2.) The ball Marquise Lee dropped in the endzone. Nine times out of ten he is going to make that catch. Catch the ball and instead of a FG, four more points on the board.
3.) The personal foul call on TJ McDonald. That was on a third down. Fourth and eight is a tough one to get. Plus, it gave Stanford a free 15 yards without taking time off the clock.
IF SC makes one of those plays it changes the outcome, but they didn't. Time to get over it and move on to Colorado and get a win there.

Scooter,
They are making up for the past 10 years, where USC was the most penalized team in the Pac.

Stat of the day - If USC didn't get so may generous calls from the refs, they would have 5 less champeenships. Everyone knows the refs have been on the SC payroll for years. Hell, they let SC get away with holding ALL NIGHT LONG against Staford, and that STILL wasn't enough.

UCLA sucks, i know this. but so does SC, ref complaining is for bad teams - trust me, i know ;)

Prediction - UCLA beats SC this year by infinity
