  1. Considering Oregon had a punt blocked and lost the game on a makeable field goal I would give the special teams an “F”.

  2. The kickoff return by DAT changed the tide of the game and made for the (almost) comeback. They get a bump just for that play. I think the C- is fair.

  3. So once again, Scott gives USC no credit and says Oregon beat themselves.

Way to give SlopeSpic any ammo….

  4. wow, even a BRUIN fan can see this is a bad post by Wolfie. Trogans looked very good and held off an attack that left Furd in the dust. I thought Lane called a great game. I get the feeling Wolfie is using the SC teams of old as his grading sheet which is unfair since this has never been a championship-contention type team. I’m not sure there’s a more improved team than the trogans this year and Lane may actually deserve COY awards.

  5. F for coaching. They didn’t have Oregon mentally prepared for a great SC team. They showed up full of press clippings and ESPN interviews and SC laid the hammer down on those Ducks. They fell way behind from the start and finally woke up in the 4th quarter but it was a bridge too far. Oregon stupidly squandered the clock on that final drive by not using their timeouts or spiking the ball once they crossed the 50 yard line and they were tackled in bounds. Some of the worst clock management I’ve seen this season. You could see them play for that field goal instead of going for the jugular like John Robinson and John McKay would have. If not for the offsides penalty they would have been completely out of range for that field goal.

  6. Mr. Jones. It is actually spelled Trojan, not Trogan. I hate to be the one to point out your spelling proclivities, but I figure you’d want to correct it now rather than have it continue to detract from your post (which other than the misspelling, is actually quite poignant).

  7. DL: F Barkley almost never got touched

    DB: F (see points below)

Coaching F- : Cliff Harris (best cornerback in pac12) is suspended for a seat belt violation!

only other upper classemen CB out with a mystery injury…

leaving freshmen CBs to get shredded by Barkley/Woods/Lee

also, better play calling (running plays) would have gotten Ducks an easier field goal attempt & forced game into overtime
