Schedule Check

Oregon is only the second team ranked in the AP poll that USC will play this season (along with Stanford). The last time USC played so few teams ranked in the AP poll was 1999.

  1. I am getting nervous about all of my child molestation comments on here. Some people don’t like them. But like Sandusky’s Nittany Lions, I know my Band of Trojan Brothers have my back!

Now, here’s another of my Greatest Hits:

JBoy, your babble is just that. You can’t compete in this arena. Go back to your blue collar job and get the heck out of here. You keep making a complete fool of yourself. Your daughter can stay, she’s a good $crew.

  2. ZeroNOBS,

Like Bucket, you seem to be exhibiting total recall on comments that were posted months ago.

    Could it be?

  3. Depends on how you look at it. USC has played more teams that have been ranked at one time or another, just not at the time the game is played. The SEC racks up tons of games versus ranked teams because a) the SEC is good and all writers coaches know it b) they play the weakest teams in the world and rack up a bunch of easy wins at the beginning of the season c) they play only 8 conference games per year, despite having a dozen (right now) teams in the conference

USC opponents that are ranked or have been ranked at one time or another this season:

    Utah (30th – preseason)
    Arizona St.
    Notre Dame
    Stanford
    Washington
    Oregon

  4. Sureshot is right on…Good Lord Wolf, how can you be so bad? And you do this for a living ROTFLMAO

  5. Only one school in the entire country will play all 12 regular-season games against BCS opponents. USC.

  6. I believe Scott is referring to the ranking during the week prior to the game. ASU was unranked heading into the SC game after being #22 or #23 prior to its Illinois lost. After beating SC, ASU was #25. Prior to the ND game, ND was #26 and SC was #27, so out of the top 25.

sureshot is also correct that after Saturday’s game, they will have played 5 teams that have been ranked at some point this season (6 if you include Utah). Otherwise, they will have played 2 teams that are currently ranked, which are the same 2 teams that were ranked heading into the game against SC.

  7. Brent –

The same can be said of ucla and notre dame as well. USC, ucla and notre dame are the only three Division 1/FBS schools to never have played a division II, division 1-AA or FCS school. But, if you want to argue that ucla is itself a non-FBS school, I’ll happily concede that point.

  8. Jethro Sabbath, thus far you are among the most supportive of my Trojan Band of Brothers! And for this, much thanks to you!

I stand as a Proud Trojan who just happens to demonstrate proclivities for child molestation and bestiality! What is this, Pick on Child Molester Week?

And now for another of my Greatest Hits:

  9. Jethro, ZeroBS is actually SlobDusky, which is so obvious. Funny. Nothing better to do. Hilarious, a bunch of losers.

  10. I’m not supporting anyone, just pointing out that Bucket posts under many names here.
Isn’t that dishonest Chuck? I know you preach against such things.
