Lane Kiffin said Oregon is the hottest team in the country right now (LSU and Oklahoma State might beg to differ). Kiffin said tailback LaMichael James is a “great, great player.”
Regarding Matt Barkley’s comment that Oregon was not as good as the Duck teams he previously faced, Kiffin, “I believe Matt made that comment without watching any film. Once he gets in here tomorrow, I believe he’ll have a different assessment.”
Safety T.J. McDonald spent last night in the hospital with migraines and blurred vision. He was released and expected to be OK for the game. Defensive tackle Christain Tupou (knee) will probably be limited for practice Tuesday.
Kiffin said wide receiver Robert Woods is only 70 percent healthy right now with his ankle injury and other bumps and bruises.
