Timing Is Everything
A little less than two years ago, Jack Del Rio was in the mix during USC's coaching search to replace Pete Carroll. But Del Rio did not want to forfeit money he was due from the Jacksonville Jaguars. So his chances dimmed and USC hired Lane Kiffin.
Two years later, Del Rio is out at Jacksonville and Kiffin's comfortably placed at USC.
