Not a good idea. Why take a chance? He is going to play on sundays with a helment own, not run around in Nike's.

Not a good idea. Everyone on that basketball team has been getting injured. We don't want one of the top receivers in the country out with a torn MCL or ACL or whatever from freelancing in basketball.

i'm a rare USC basketball fan - but this is not a good idea. he's too good at what he does for the football team - and that's where he'll make his money post-amateur career. too risky.
he's a great athlete but not an nba prospect, right?

Unless he's good enough to be a starter, why bother? He'd only take minutes away from guys like Allen, Moore and Wesley, and those guys need as much D-1 game experience as they can get.
Only benefit would be a slight uptick in attendance if Lee's buddies from the football team come to watch him play.
I hear Lee is a lock-down defender on the basketball court, but the basketball team needs better offense, not defense.

I would wrap Lee in bubble wrap and keep him safe for spring practice. Just ask Woods if he thinks Lee should play B-ball.

I love basketball, but this is a terrible idea. Lee has the potential to be the best WR in college football.
