UCLA fans can come on here and hate after obviously drinking gallons of Haterade, but the fact of the matter is USC was playing at an extremely high level by seasons end.
They went into Autzen stadium and broke the longest home winning streak in the nation, then they embarrassed UCLA with the most lopsided demolition in the last 75 years.

What I'm getting at is USC is a great team but some of you just do not have the balls to admit it, pulling petty excuses out of your ass like "oh Oregon missed a field goal at the end".....well if Oregon deserved to win they would have made that field goal, field goals are part of the game. Not to mention, USC pretty much GAVE them the opportunity to even ATTEMPT that field goal when Marc Tyler fumbled the hand off in the Oregon RED ZONE. USC was just the better team, accept it, and they have proved to arguably be the best team in the Pac 12.

Whats funny is Oregon takes over the top stop in the Pac when USC is having a couple down years, and they think they are God's gift to the earth. Oregon beats teams by running lots of plays really fast, not by talent or even good play-calling, just the speed of the play calling. USC figured out how to slow them down enough to get a W, just like every other ranked team that has beaten them. You say Oregon didnt play there best...that's because USC made them play worse. Recruits are starting to realize that they wont play in Natty's or get prepared for the NFL by attending Oregon. All they get are cute uniforms. This argument that "USC only beat Oregon because Oregon missed a field goal" is one of the silliest. First, that field goal would have tied the game, and there is no way to know what would have happened in overtime; there is no reason to assume that Oregon would have won. That aside, the reason that Oregon needed that field goal to tie the game was that USC HAD SCORED MORE POINTS THAN OREGON OVER THE COURSE OF FOUR QUARTERS, and the final score of a game includes all the points scored by both teams, not just the points scored by Oregon in a dramatic but failed come-back attempt.

Isn't kicking part of the game? And winning on the road accounts for something.
