After watching LSU defeat Georgia today, do you agree with USC quarterback Matt Barkley that the Trojans could beat the Tigers?

YES. No Doubt. The SEC is so overrated. Watching OK St right now I wish they could play LSU. They would win big!

Yes.

Difference between Georgia and USC is that we are much faster, and Ga ran out of gas. And the fact that LSU is the luckiest team to ever compete. How many touchdowns did Ga drop, not to mention interceptions. USC has a better offense than Ga, so I say, Yes we can play with anyone,(except the Packers). It's all academic anyway.

You can bet your A**, Stephen !!!

Georgia's offense sucked. Their defense front 7, big, fat and slow.

The Trojan defense is fast where speed is needed and strong where strength is required.

Besides, LSU's 2011 defense has not experienced an offense as DYNAMIC as Kiffin's University of Southern California Trojan OFFENSE.

Let's drop Hawaii, our first 2012 oppponent, schedule LSU, then beat the SH*T out of LSU on their home field. Their two starting QB's lose their elegibilty at the end of this year, but that's okay. SEC blaggards would still give USC 17 points.

HOW SWEET IT IS...........50-0 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

FIGHT ON, MB7 !!!

LSU is just on a different level. What's next is Lane Kiffin a better coach than Nick Saban, Les Miles or the old ball coach?

Geez...sounds like some bRuins are still butt hurt over getting buttfawked 50-0 to USC. God, I love it. Aren't bRuins the best at deflecting criticism from their own worthless football program while throwing stones at USC...this, in light of just enduring the most embarrassing, humiliating and gutless loss to USC in the modern era. Priceless.

BruinRob Author Profile Page said:

incalos, please forgive these delusional trOJies, they beat Oregon because their kicker blew a field goal that my greatgrandma would have kicked thru the uprights, and these guys act like they actually beat the Super Bowl champions. truly hilarious!!!

BruinRob,

Please let us know how you arrived at your conclusion and give a detailed breakdown.
You can't just throw out wild statements and not be prepared to back them up.

sdbob Author Profile Page said:

Oh yeah Oregon scored over 100 points against the Brubabes in 2 games so that makes them some kind of football analysts. Let's face it boys you were never close enough during any of your two games to make a field goal even important against the Ducks.
Let's see what 3rd class bowl game you get at 6-8 and remember the closer to Christmas you play the suckier your bowl game is so enjoy.

oregon111 Author Profile Page said:

lets analyze that...

you peak your last 3 games of the season,
but only against one good team

and Oregon did not play its best on both offense, defense and special teams,

so the jury says: not enough "evidence" to make that claim

also, I predicted here that USC would claim to be better than LSU by Thanksgiving... I was just a little off on my timeline

I think if you could protect Barkley, you might have a chance - otherwise -> a big "N" "O"

---------

but I have to give your players & fans major points for thinking big...

on the Oregon blogs, we are not allowed to think big, not allowed to criticize any players or coaches, and not allowed to say anything negative about losing in January

BruinRob Author Profile Page said:

@Jethro, the USC win over Oregon was not impressive at all...you led 38-14 and Oregon came back, and if not for an EASY missed field goal you lose another game. So please stop your foolishness already. Even after you beat Notre Dame (unranked) you fools were acting like you beat the Packers or something. Fools.

@sdbob, who cares! you will be left behind at home playing with yourselves because you can with anyone else...losers!! LMAO

@oregon111 "but I have to give your players & fans major points for thinking big..." when you have the most delusional fans in the country, they always think big. They've been claiming to the best team in the nation since they beat Notre Dame, thanks to the QB having butter in his hands. USC loves kickers, the ones that kick balls chin-high (Utah) and one that can't make a chip shot (Oregon).

Tune in tomorrw trOJies, when they announce which Bowl game UCLA will play in...eat your heart jealous losers!!! ROTFLMAO

dcard1097 Author Profile Page said:

UCLA fans can come on here and hate after obviously drinking gallons of Haterade, but the fact of the matter is USC was playing at an extremely high level by seasons end.
They went into Autzen stadium and broke the longest home winning streak in the nation, then they embarrassed UCLA with the most lopsided demolition in the last 75 years.
What am I getting at here you ask? What I'm getting at is USC is a great team but some of you just do not have the balls to admit it, pulling petty excuses out of your ass like "oh Oregon missed a field goal at the end".....well if Oregon deserved to win they would have made that field goal, field goals are part of the game. Not to mention, USC pretty much GAVE them the opportunity to even ATTEMPT that field goal when Marc Tyler fumbled the hand off in the Oregon RED ZONE. USC was just the better team, accept it, and they have proved to arguably be the best team in the Pac 12.

Oregon111, your comment on how USC's O-line doesnt protect Barkley well enough makes no sense when that same O-line has allowed the least amount of sacks in the Pac 12.
At the end of the day, if they were to play right now, yes USC would hang with LSU, and it would be a hell of a game.

@ruinedslob, you need more tissues after that FIFTY TO NOTHING ass-kicking? Bahahahahahahaha!!!!! We won AT Autzen... if Fucla did that you pansies would be screaming for a BCS bid and giving Neuheisel an extension LMAO!!! Good try though.... mediocre on!

You broke my heart Fredo Author Profile Page said:

Scard, you hit the nail on the head. bRuins are a pathetic lot that simply can't face the music. They subterfuge to mask their own weakness and culpability for their weak tit excuse of a football program. Nor do they have the guts, or sportsmanship, to admit they've been owned by USC for the last decade. And, now that their hoops program appears to be constipated, and their losing ground academically each year, you can just feel the frustration dripping off these guys backs.

oregon111 Author Profile Page said:

dcard1097, my point was if USC could protect vs LSU...

(because LSU has great pass rushing D ends)

I didn't say USC can't protect its QB,

in fact, the sharing & caring that the UCLA qb got, was what was dialed up for Barkley by the Ducks, but they couldn't get there

BruinRob, its funny how USC fans make huge claims, yet lose a game every year to a vastly inferior opponent

OMG! trOXan have suffered a total break with reality!!

from the Heisman chances of the Pious Passer to the cries of how the bowls were "taken away from them" to now claiming they would beat LSU!!!???

LSU has the fast corners and safeties to shut down the Southern Cal receivers. and once they fell behind, recall the Pious Passer has NEVER led a comeback win!!

reality check time: ummm the trOXans LOST to 2 of the 3 ranked teams they played. hardly champeen ship material. good team, perhaps. champeens? HAWR-HAWR!!

Whats funny is Oregon takes over the top stop in the Pac when USC is having a couple down years, and they think they are God's gift to the earth. Oregon beats teams by running lots of plays really fast, not by talent or even good play-calling, just the speed of the play calling. USC figured out how to slow them down enough to get a W, just like every other ranked team that has beaten them. You say Oregon didnt play there best...that's because USC made them play worse. Recruits are starting to realize that they wont play in Natty's or get prepared for the NFL by attending Oregon. All they get are cute uniforms. Accept reality Oregon, USC is back, thanks for keeping the seat warm for us, and dont worry, we'll take care of those teams you cant beat in the bowl games. PS, tell your players to stop acting like their injured every time they fumble the ball, nobody's buying it. FTFO

50-0. No Petersen. Still so much hate.

Makes sense for a Duck fan to chime in since the Ducks played LSU.

But what would Bruin fans know about good teams when they just spent an entire season watching a team so awful that it cans its head coach prior to the conference championship game and applies for a losing record bowl exemption even before the championship game is played.

If I were a Bruin fan, I'd be upset too. But to continue ranting and raving on a USC blog? Maybe it's time to seek professional help. Life's too short to be consumed with hate.

Carlos Author Profile Page said:

Probably not but USC would score a bunch of points.

W.E.B. Dupree Author Profile Page said:

This argument that "USC only beat Oregon because Oregon missed a field goal" is one of the silliest. First, that field goal would have tied the game, and there is no way to know what would have happened in overtime; there is no reason to assume that Oregon would have won. That aside, the reason that Oregon needed that field goal to tie the game was that USC HAD SCORED MORE POINTS THAN OREGON OVER THE COURSE OF FOUR QUARTERS, and the final score of a game includes all the points scored by both teams, not just the points scored by Oregon in a dramatic but failed come-back attempt.

Trojan Conquest Author Profile Page said:

Isn't kicking part of the game? And winning on the road accounts for something.

Jethro Sabbath Author Profile Page said:

Rev. Dupree,

The only reason USC beat UCLA is because they outscored them 50-0.

Are you expecting sound reasoning from trolls who still post here despite the recent developments that should make any Bruin want to lay very very very low?

"USC figured out how to slow them down enough to get a W"

oh yeah, like make sure Cliff Harris is suspended, and the other CB (a senior) is out too

which leaves 2 freshmen CBs

Oregon also lost its best pass rushers early in the game

and Darron Thomas gets F@cking worse every game he plays

USC won that game and deserved the W, but it was not domination - it was a mix of circumstances along with Barkley & Lee playing their best

Oregon runs good plays on offense and other teams shut it down either because they have good players or because the offensive rythm is off
