Completely agree with Monopoly. The 3 clowns that on the infractions committee were dead set on taking down USC, regardless of the facts. Nikias and Haden were on board during the appeal process.

I say we offer a few basketball scholarships to some stud football recruits. You know, two-sport athletes like Lee who can ride the pine for our pathetic hoops squad. Let's use loopholes to f--k with the ncaa.

That's right Rusty, piss off the NCAA even more, you'll never learn. Look, it's a liberal org, you have to play their game. You apologize, you hire dumb minorities, gays etc and you grab the ankles and kiss their rings.

If they were in charge during the investigation, we would have given them exactly what Ohio St. gave them and they would have never gotten around to looking at the other stuff. It's called finding out what they want and giving it to them. North Carolina is going to skate for the same reason.

I'm not sure how minorities and gays have anything to do with fatass Paul Dee and the Irish bimbo. Look, I'm not suggesting breaking or even bending the rules. I would simply like USC to take advantage of the rules as they currently exist. They really left the university with few options and very little to lose.

I also propose starting a not-for-profit organization (unaffiliated with USC, of course) that accepts donations to conduct independent investigations for possible ncaa violations of all teams playing in a BCS bowl game this year. I suspect it would not take much effort to send a photographer to Baton Rouge and Tuscaloosa to snap a few pics of players getting in or out of their brand new rides. By ncaa standards, the minute that those cars were registered with the respective campus authorities, the athletic programs new or should have known that they needed to monitor.

Another Thought: If Mike Garrett were still here, the NCAA would be $h!tting Bricks!! He wouldn't be sitting on his @$$ playing kissy face with goo goo.

Why can't the leadership at USC at least vocalize the situation on how we were screwed. I would love to see the NCAA with a little of the mud on their faces. I think that Pat Haden needs to show some backbone and go ahead and stir it up a little. Or what the hell, stir it up a lot.

How can wolf say that after knowing what a corrupt SOB paul dee is/was. the fix was in. USC appealed the sanctions with nikias and haden there, how come nothing changed? wolf is just trying to rile something up. I read somewhere recently that a Long Beach attorney with USC ties is going after the NCAA's Non-Profit Status, using the Bowl Ban on innocent current students as an example of violations of the Educational Mission required to have Tax Exempt Status. Not sure of all the details, but the concept is good....hit em where it hurts. In the Pocketbook.

Another issue hurts USC as well....unlike state schools with tax subsidized costs, USC is an expensive private university which limits the ability of walk-ons to afford to attend.
