    He was entertaining, cheap, chances are pretty good he wouldn’t turn you down like everyone else and he couldn’t do any worse than the last two dudes.

  8. DeWayne Walker is the only one that actually WANTS the job, & he will ultimately get the offer to return to Westwood.
    Whether he takes it is another issue, but can’t imagine he wouldn’t love to get the h…. out of NM.

  10. Al Golden won’t leave Miami unless they get nailed with the death penalty. Everyone feels sorry for Al for some reason. We all knew in summer 2010 about Shapiro and the Miami deal. Al pretends he didn’t know anything before he signed with them earlier this year. Whatever. One year in and he just got another 4 year extension. He isn’t going to UCLA. TrojanRick is right–DeWayne Walker is the only one who can bring credibility to that program AND who wants the jobs AND who won’t break the bank. His recruiting pitch will be “I was the one who outmaneuvered Lane Kiffin in 2006 and won 13-9. Come play for me and we can re-enact that entire game during every practice. It’ll be fun…unless you are the QB who has to crushed by Rey Maualuga.”

  18. Actually, slob, I’ve been to tennis, volleyball, soccer, water polo, baseball, basketball, track, and even lacrosse games at SC. Football is just most well known and talked about by bruins like yourself because we kick your asses in front of a NATIONAL audience every year! FIGHT ON!

    It looks like everything is aligning for us Bruins:
    First, we got to play in the Pac-12 title game.
    Second, we became eligible for a Bowl game with a 6-7 record.
    Third, we DODGED A MISSILE SIZED BULLET by not playing in the Bowl we Bruins were hoping to be playing in…instead ASU gets to play BOISE STATE!! and we get to play Illinois instead. Thank you God!!!

    I hope the next big break we get is a top-tier coach that will give us something to really look forward to, as someone here suggested, Dwayne Walker??? I think he would be a good hire for us.

  32. @thaimex: is it irony that SC fans are ecstatic that the Trojans are back after going 10-2 and no bowl game, while Fucla fans (all the ones I know personally) are as down on their team as I’ve ever seen because they don’t want their team in a bowl because they’re EMBARRASSING..? Why would i waste my time hating a historical losing team that rarely, and by rarely i mean once in the last 13 years, gives USC a challenge. I think its fair to say that I hate Oregon, Stanford, and Notre Dame more than I hate UCLA.

    The only reason we make fun of you so much is because you guys are the only ones trolling our sites, so jealous of our historical success while you have never even been considered a power house.

    Enjoy the KFH Bowl, hopefully your team will get a lifetime supply of Mac ‘N Cheese, they’ll need it after they graduate with that public school education. Then again, im sure they’ll get free meals being the managers of McDonalds and Del Taco.
