Miner Ceremony
Former USC guard Harold Miner was honored at halftime and surprised by former teammates from his playing days.
``I always played with two goals,'' Miner said. ``First, to win and second, to give everyone who saw me play get their money's worth each and every night.''
Miner's wife and children also attended the ceremoney and a large banner was unfurled with his number in the Galen Center rafters.
``He had a lot better NBA career than people think, including him,'' Kevin O'Neill said.
USC guard Alexis Moore said he met Miner during Friday's practice.
``It was a privilege to meet someone that did so much to put USC basketball on the map,'' Moore said.
USC gave out 2,000 Miner bobbleheads but apparently some went unclaimed because the game announcer told fans they were still available on their way out of the arena.

Hah! I knew it!
Hello again Sam Gi(capital i)bert.
Way to go trojans, can't even give away 2,000 free bobbleheads of the best player in USC history! I am sure Minor was proud of the wonderful event you put on last night for him.
Wrong again, Wolfie. They had more than 2K and had people line up for the reserve batch WHILE the lottery winners were still being served. There weren't enough for the mass that queued up for the reserve batch - this is evidenced by going on eBay and seeing 18 people bid one up to $93 with still over 4 days left in the auction. Go on eBay, only 5 are listed. BTW, no bRuins showed up, you'd think they'd show up for that one.
btw, loved seeing all of the 50-0 shirts being worn last night! I'm sure last night's win that none of the bRuins showed up for made up for that epic buttkicking! hahaha
