Since you are now a "recruiting insider" who likes to give percentage of a recruit's likelihood of landing at SC, what percentage would you give the likelihood that on Feb. 1st 2012, you will falsely claim a 5* recruit has picked USC, ala CJ Spiller, Adrian Petersen, etc.....?
What percentage would you give the likelihood that Bruinsnation will claim the best recruiting class ever when they land a whopping total of 16 3* recruits?
Did I miss answers to last week's Forum?
Have u farted before?
If Kiffin signs a QB, would you assume one of the current QB's is asked to leave or suddenly suffers a career ending injury like a paper cut?
To Monopoly. Both of those kids did verbal, but since verbals are non binding, they went elsewhere. You do know what non binding means , right ?
Question for all your fans and foes, Scott. When and where did all you people attend college???
Same question as always...how many silent commits are there left at this moment? Thanks
Scottie - your predictions were comical the other day. Thank you. Nor for my question: You've made much of this "star average" thing lately to get your readers all riled up. But which would you choose - a high star rating with 15 recruits, or a slightly lower star rating with 25 recruits? For discussion purposes, compare Alabama's likely class with SC's.
Since you bypassed this in the previous Open Forum..
Scott, Any updated info regarding Geo. Farmer's pending academic status? Did that "specific grade" that was mentioned, ever get made up or changed? What would be his current participation status for spring practice? Is he still dramatically close to not qualifying for the 2012 season?
and for this forum, Did he have a reason or excuse for not showing up at the first voluntary workouts yesterday?
Thank You
Question @spedjones: In all honesty, would you rather have UCLA's class right now (25 committs), or FSU's class right now (16 committs), listed on the Bruins' beloved Scout.com?
Doesn't the current situation with the BB program just SCREAM for Haden to pony up and hire a top flight coach? Geez, with someone who can actually recruit and coach, USC would dominate the Pac12 in a year or so since none of the other Pac12 schools are any good and don't look to be too good in the future.
Talk to me on signing day. But this year I'd say the 25 since Mora will likely boot a bunch of guys off the team soon. Need to fill those spots. Next year, I'd probably opt for FSU's 16. That's a beastly class.
WHY IS THE SPRING FOOTBALL GAME ON THE SAME DAY AS SWIM WITH MIKE. WHO GOOFED I'VE GOT TO KNOW?
It seems like every year 'SC has an impact player who flies under the radar heading into the seaon.
My question to you: who do you expect to be one of those hidden gems on the current roster that will make a name for himself come kickoff 2012?
Thanks.
There are discussions about revising the bowl eligibility requirement in 2014 to require seven victories, which may end a certain number of low-tier bowl games. As noted by one author: "UCLA has benefitted more than any other school by the 6-6 bowl eligibility rule, earning three bids without a winning record. The Bruins went to bowls in 2007 and 2009 at 6-6 and 2011 at 6-7." No doubt, the bRuins will be affected if the change is made.
What are your thoughts on the possible revision to bowl eligibility?

Any word on the McNair lawsuit? Any chance that Haden will spring a surprise lawsuit on National LOI Day, giving Kiffin a shocking 25 scholarships to give away?
Mr. Wolf, greetings and salutations, I have a multipart question, does USC have any silent commits, second, are they offensive or defensive; and final question, do you foresee any of the current commits signing elsewhere? Thanks.
If a player can get medically cleared by 2-3 reputable (perhaps even mutually agreed upon) doctors, why wouldn't USC then simply ask the player to sign a waiver releasing them (USC) from any liability should the player get injured due to their medical issue in question? Is this illegal or immoral? Obviously I wouldn't want a kid to die playing, but if they can get cleared and what to play why not go this route?
Scott, as a fellow SC alum that is proud of our academics, why do you continue to use the word "anyways"? Is it for humor or your own slang?
http://grammartips.homestead.com/anyway.html
Do not say or write "anyways"--not ever. The word is "anyway."
The form "anyways" is found in some dialects in the United States, but it is not standard English, and it should never be used in any situation where you want to be considered reasonably well educated.
Are the beginning of the careers of both George Farmer and Whitney Lewis very similar when you take in account the high rating as a high school prospects, position changes, academic issues, and falling behind on the depth chart? Just as Lewis fell behind Bush and White, Farmer fell behind Lee. Also, there are issues with coaches over position changes. Farmer just as Lewis was supposed to be an instant impact star but struggled. What do you make of the comparison of Whitney Lewis and George Farmer?
USCFootball.com from Rivals.com reported that George Farmer threatened to transfer if he did not get to go back to playing wide receiver. What do you make of this? Is he unhappy at USC? Are you surprised?
Is Farmer getting a reputation of not putting in the effort like his high school teammates Woods & Lee?
If SC doesn't win a single solitary mens basketball game in the Pac 12 this season, what are the % chances Pat Haden finally will admit he was wrong, end our long national nightmare and fire Bozo the Coach, and then launch a nationwide search for the best young successful coach from a mid major that has actually made March Madness, or does Haden not care about mens basketball as long as football is doing well?
Scott
Do you ever talk to coaches, players, recruits or do you just spend all of your time reading other people's articles and stealing info? What other reporter (I use that term very loosely ) has a blog that spends most of his time trying to pander to 15 year old UCLA fans?
Jesse Scroggins did not participate in the throwing session. is he still on the team? There are rumors he may transfer.
Wolfie do you think the late recruitment of Miles has something to do with Scroggins being on his way out? Any news on the forgoten corner back Brian Bauchan?
who farted
Farts mom farted and fart was born. Farts mom was ashamed. She hoped fart would one day just go away but he never did. He continues to linger in her basement. Maybe one day fart will just go away bcuz no one likes fart. Die fart die.
do fartd
pphhhhss fart
When is 'Ol "Lottery Pick" Dedmon's Bobblehead so I can clear my calendar?
Scott do you think you might get a Bobble Night given the shortage of "stars" on the team?
Question for Scott: Do Kiffen and staff have to get down to 75 scholarships by the start of school this fall? If so, this could help free-up the openings needed with more time for evaluating players @ needs, possible eligibility @ injury problems, etc., during spring/summer practice. What is the rule?
After USC takes control of the Los Angeles Coliseum will Pat Haden follow the lead of enlightened Florida and house homeless people in the stadium on nights that there is not an official event?
The Sam Gilbert who asked the basketball question at 7:32 AM is just Charlie Bucket using a capital i instead of an l in Gilbert. So anyway my one question is:
If the wide receiver corps start to get thin, would Kiffin ever try drawing up more plays for the tight ends like they did for Andrew Luck at Stanford, attempt to convert those tight ends to wide receivers, run more or compensate in another way? Would his desire to win Matt Barkley a Heisman affect his decision?
