Mono, you're dumb. Truth is, USC is amo longer an appealing program, I don't care about 50-0 nor the 10 wins...recruits are only concerned about the future, and the future sucks for USC.

Well the sanctions have begun to sink their teeth into the program for sure. RB depth will surely become a big issue if we have injuries this year to Morgan or McNeal, which given McNeal's size/durability is not out of the question. We need a RB in this class for depth even more than WR (I guess Nelson Agholor or George Farmer could fill-in if they had to). The RB recruit need not be a big-time recruit. We can bring in a couple of top-flight RBs next year who are capable of starting early at the position if DJ Morgan has issues or injuries or to be ready to take over if DJ leaves after 2013.

Whether the coming future sucks for USC remains to be seen it has been good so far under Kiffin. But Oregon is getting top recruits now, UCLA has 10 less players it has to compete with USC for and a new coach to sell, Stanford knows what it is, and Washington has Josh Lupoi now.

i believe we'll pass on the RB and QB positions this recruiting class - but would take foster if he wanted to come. have a feeling he won't - we'll see.

Edward scissorhands, we already have two great RB's with similar builds. What SC needs this year is a change up 'big' back for short yardage scenarios.

Next year USC will sign one of the top three RBs in the country if not more. Settle down there fella...

Both SC and UCLA will have fine classes.

For the star average folks tho, here's what you need to do. Take the top 10 classes and then cut the lowest ranked guys until you have just 15 commits. You can then compare SUC versus the rest on a star average basis. Points for other schools above and beyond those 15 guys are just gravy.

I don't know if you bruin fans are happy for the sanctions because you think it will help UCLA recruit or because you think it will hurt USC in recruiting... Most of you seem not to care what UCLA is doing.

We got Mora, and the arguably the one of the best coaching staffs in the nation that are recruiting beyond anyone's expectation, don't be surprised of we get two 5-star players on Wednesday...had we won that game, UCLA would be no better off today, so YES!!!! According to Rivals.com UCLA is one of 5 schools that will end up higher than the current recruiting rankings...50-0 was GREAT!!!

I'm totally loving that 50-0 spanking...it gaves Mora, Klemm, Mazzone, Martin, and Broussard. Had that spanking not taken place, UCLA would be spinning their wheels, but we're not! Jim Mora has it on cruise control at 120 MPH.

Just to remind you bruinNob when Nuehisel was hired UCLA had top 10 recruting classes in 08' and 09' his first 2 classes that resulted in not much...and Nuehisel had plenty of success in the pack 10 at U dub... Mora has none... So pump year breaks until something actualy happends in real life... You know the one going on outside your windows
