Rivalries are being destroyed already as Texas and Texas A&M and Oklahoma and Nebraska won't play any more. Money drives college football to play whenever ESPN dictates. The universities have already destroyed the Rose Bowl tradition. Now they are forming superconferences and ultimately will forego all rivalries with a playoff system tha will begin in November and wipe out the traditional rivalries.
