I liked Flournoy as well. But so far, Lane Kiffin hasn't been very high on him.

Simmons and Vehikite probably have 3 tackles combined in 3 years plus Simmons has been suspended at least 3 times publicly over the years for academics.

How about mentioning that SC got a transfer in Josh Shaw from Florida ???

Hall, Flournoy and Burnett stay.

Lou, we did not get Josh Shaw, at least not yet, and I don't think we will now because of the Bowman signing.

Here's hoping Scott Wolf transfers to Mars.

A couple of ways to look at the situation...
kIFFY is still recruiting and figures the guy's he's bringing in are gonna be BETTER (and can contribute earlier) than the departed (if these probable REDSHIRT FRESHMEN are better than current R/S Sophs/Juniors....there's a problem) or...
kIFFY screwed up in evaluating talent and signed guys he shouldn't have. If this is the case...its likely kIFfy (and the A'gin caj'in) will continue to make the same recruiting mistakes since nothing has changed and this years recruits will be UNWANTED after a couple of years just like the guys they're replacing (it's sort of like Marrying Elizabeth Taylor). What happens if "The Menace from Venice" has problems attending class again..., or ONE, just ONE of the running backs goes down with an INJURY (dislocated shoulder, ankle sprain, Weight Bar Dropping on NECK). I'm not making fun of anyone...I'm just sayin...stuff happens to Running Backs all of the time, and now that the Senorita's Spanglish Class is off limits @Trade Tech, SUCks is getting set up for a VERY LONG Disappointing SEASON.
I won't make my prediction for next season YET,...but you know it's gonna be GREAT!

Bauchan and Armstead r as good as gone. Not sure how vehikte fits in with this team. Doesnt seem like Kiffin trust Flournoy when it counts. Hall, Burnett, and simmons all have solid roles on this team when healthy. Markowitz is a toss bcuz of his injuries and graduation. With the exception of the first three i mentioned i would prefer to keep them all. Hey Randall Caroll still think you made a good decision??

ThaiMex, I feel you should be aware -- I hear that the Cadre is in a financial death spiral due to Bucket losing the entire reserve fund by foolish bets on the USC-Oregon game and the Kraft Hungry Bowl. Now Bucket is hiring Bain Capital to do "consulting". After Romney's boys finish taking what little is left as consulting fees, the Cadre will be looking to eliminate some positions.

Some web sites are reporting that Josh Shaw is heading to UCLA but Pedro Moura is saying he's going to USC. Moura cites Shaw's high school coach as the source.

Thanks for your kind thoughts and concern for my welfare. According to the Classy Cadre Charter (CCC), all executive officers receive the same compensation of $1 per year. There are other substantial "under the table" benefits (primarily booze, broads & more of the same), estimated by some, to exceed in value, those benefits allegedly received by Mr. Romney. While I am forbidden to go into detail, I can assure you the Cadres Portfolio is DIVERSE and in good hands. While I did end up with a few "near worthless Neuheisel Nickels", I expect one day, they will become Valuable Collector items (though I'm pretty sure you'll NEVER see the day "Coach Neuheisel & accomplices" burst into any Las vegas Hotel Rooms, GUNS DRAWN, to STEAL these goodies!).

On another note...an obviously DRUNK SUCks Frat Boy made a comment about Randall Caroll in a previous post. Randall Caroll was "dismissed from the UCLA Football team for failure to fulfill certain academic requirements"(College athletics and Academics go hand in hand at most Universities). I am sure the entire U-C-L-A Bruin Nation wish Randall the very best where ever he ends up. Sour Grapes are for Torgans!

Shaw couldn't get into UCLA because his classes don't transfer to UC systems not because of grades. USC is smarter than UCLA and will turn him into a future NFL draft pick.

BTW, I hear Nelson Agholor and Stefon Diggs are coming to USC. Peat and Banner to round out the class and a last day signing of McCarthy (although I hear he's lazy). That would be an EPIC BOOM Roasted for the haterz in the house (slopespic, bucksh*t, slob, etc...)

I heard Scott is going to transfer to Boise Idaho and Kiffen has given his blessing. PC was hoping he would come up to Seattle. Some guy named Bucket is going to start writing in Scott's place.
