When is 'Ol "Lottery Pick" Dedmon's Bobblehead so I can clear my calendar?
Scott do you think you might get a Bobble Night given the shortage of "stars" on the team?
A: I'm lobbying hard for my own bobblehead to be given out at the Pac-12 Tournament. That way Larry Scott can place my bobbleheads in all the empty seats and count them as fans.

Question for Scott: Do Kiffen and staff have to get down to 75 scholarships by the start of school this fall? If so, this could help free-up the openings needed with more time for evaluating players @ needs, possible eligibility @ injury problems, etc., during spring/summer practice. What is the rule?
A: The rule is USC be down to 75 scholarships by the start of fall. Scholarships are renewed at the end of June, so players find out then if they have a scholarship the following school year. So that is when Lane Kiffin must decide who gets renewed.

This would seriously suck if you were told that you no longer have a scholarship. How about a senior who is on track to graduate? "Sorry kid, but if you want a degree from here, you'll need to pony up over 50K." Thank you NCAA for punishing kids who had nothing to do with what Reggie and his lowl-life parents did 7 years ago. Maybe these kids should send the bill to Reggie? Or the NCAA?
The OCR calculated that we were at 77 following Signing Day. I think it highly likely that 2 kids will transfer/academically disqualify/etc by fall. If not a walk-on or two who had received scholarships may go back to walk-on status. Sucks but hardly the catastrophe you might think.
I am sure if anyone loses their athletic scholarship and still wants to go to school, an academic/non athletic scholie will be given to that person. Of course, they will no longer be able to participate in the football program. That said, something tells me that if we need a scholie or two, we will have a season ending injury or two.
I think you'll see one transfer and one academic, Kiffin will be spared having to pull some kids ride. Bush should pay for any kids who lose their ride and want a degree, the jackass.
Reggie Bush lives in LA. Let's go ask him. Anyone have his address?
