On Scroggins

It became obvious the past few weeks QB Jesse Scroggins was unhappy and considered transferring. Perhaps the difference is his departure is not academic-related because he leaves in good academic standing and can transfer to another school with no problems.
The question now is if Scroggins considers a junior college to play immediately or only wants to go to a four-year university. His departure makes sense for him because I was clear he would be behind Max Wittek and Cody Kessler (and probably Max Browne) in 2013.

  1. Obvious? Not if you read this blog.

Wolf, why don’t you actually get the answers to your questions? That’s what a journalist would do.

  2. How does,

Don’t you see that it is almost impossible for Scott to answer these questions.

    1) He would have had to develop a relationship with player’s on the team. (Who would trust Scott, you will just end up as an item or nickname sometime in the future.

    2) You would have to figure out how to use your smart phone.

    3) You would have to care about the quality of your work.

  3. So why don’t practically all transfers who are freshmen or sophs go the jr college route? You don’t lose a year, you play and don’t get rusty, and I’m assuming after one year at a juco you could transfer anywhere without restrictions. There’s got to be a catch?

  4. Actually, this is what Cam Newton did. This is why he was able to transfer to another SEC school after playing a year at a juco.

  5. The player got smart by deciding to transfer out. He will regret the decision of ever choosing USC but at least now he can make up for his poor decision.

  6. Billy, Billy, Billy,…….40(?)years old and you still believe in leprechauns????

  7. Hey Bill. do you have a piece of Bucket stuck in your ass, because it sure sounds like it….LOL….idiot

  8. To a community college @LAT. Smart move. USC has had tremendous success with JC transfers over the years, themselves. Maybe he will land a spot like Newton did, while improving his grades and study habits. USC saw something when they signed him.

  9. Surprised that the four letter school in the desert has not popped up (but I guess that’s to much work for Woooofe to try and find out). It’s the same type of situation as it was with one Jason Thomas and one Rocky Hinds. I do wish Jessie the very best.
