OK, let's be upfront about this. I'm a Stanford grad, so I'm keeping an eye on the Stanford-Cal game while I watch UCLA-USC. Needless to say, I wasn't all that optimistic about Stanford's chances today. But it's Big Game, so you never know.

Sure enough, the rivalry has brought out the best in Stanford. Cal has a slim 23-17 lead late in the third quarter, but Stanford appears to be driving.

Just another reminder that all rules go out the window in rivalry week.
