USC safety T.J. McDonald competed in his first practice at Rams mini-camp and could start as the Rams no longer have last year’s starters, Quintin Mikell and Craig Dahl.

USC Morning Buzz

Wide receiver Robert Woods enjoyed a strong first day at Bills mini-camp and continues to be described as a starter next season.

Meanwhile, Matt Barkley is in Philadelphia and said he is ready to compete and not be in awe of Michael Vick or even Nick Foles.

“You come in as a teammate to them, not as a fan,” Barkley said.

And what about his draft slide? “The fact is that I’m here, and I have a shot to play on the field this year,” Barkley said.
