Food pantry for pets!

This may be a hilarious picture but it's not so hilarious when owners are unable to feed their pets due to foreclosures and other financial crises. L.A. Unleashed published an entry about food banks for pets and our sister paper the Daily Breeze published something on it as well.

Hopefully the SPCA's So Cal division will do the same. At any rate...if you're a struggling homeowner who might possibly lose your pet due to a financial dilemma or if you'd like to donate pet food you can contact the SPCA Los Angeles or you might want to contact a local food pantry. Not sure if they'll take it put it doesn't hurt to ask.
